Baby, You’re 5 Months Old!
Baby, you’re 5 months old! You’re the happiest little boy, always spreading the love by smiling at everyone you meet 🙂
Here are some of the milestones we have hit this month:
We visited Cornwall for our first family holiday at the end of August. You were very lucky as you got to witness a gloriously sunny bank holiday weekend (you’ll soon come to realise this is rare for the UK!) You got a little grumpy towards the end of our 6 hour journey down but that’s okay, Mama didn’t mind being squished in the back with you to hold your hand. Daddy even let you drive during one of our stops – look out!
You got to have your first paddle in the sea – you loved it until Joey splashed you (naughty pooch). Don’t worry, you’ll be big enough to get him back next time!
This month you mastered rolling over! After a few weeks of getting stuck halfway (and getting pretty frustrated) you managed to get from front to back first, shortly followed by back to front. Just look how pleased with yourself you were! You’ve always been such a strong boy and it’s clear you just can’t wait to be on the move. Mama even walked upstairs to find you upside down in your crib after a nap once – now that must have taken some doing!
It’s still early days but you had your first introduction to solid food. Soft carrot to start with – we had so much fun and you even managed to not spit out a few munches!
You’ve been struggling with your milk though you poor thing ,so we’re going to hold off on any more grub until we find a formula that’s better for you (it appears you’re a little allergy boy like you’re Daddy!)
*Further post to follow on our journey on finding out JJ has CMPA*
